Brad Matz, DVM, MS, DACVS-SA

Dr. Brad Matz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in animal and dairy science from Mississippi State in 2004, and the DVM from the same university in 2012, where he was a Giles Scholar. He earned a master’s degree from Auburn University in 2012.
He served a three-year surgical residency and one-year Surgical Oncology Fellowship and was a clinical lecturer at the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, and was appointed an assistant clinical professor in 2014.
Dr. Matz, upon completing his Fellowship in Surgical Oncology at Auburn University, and upon formal approval by the ACVS Board of Regents, earned the credential of ACVS Fellow, Surgical Oncology.
